Action! Filmmaking class is now in session!
FC Academy provides filmmaking classes — after school, during the summer and throughout school vacation weeks for middle school students who want to flex their creative muscles and learn the art of filmmaking.
Students will learn skills in scriptwriting, storyboard sketching, character development, improvisation, and camera skills – all in a fun, collaborative and exciting environment. Together, the group will write, shoot, and edit a film in a genre of their choosing.
Students will learn to edit their films using professional edit software like Adobe Premiere Pro.
All final projects are eligible for submission into the Boston International Kids Film Festival and viewed on the big screen in front of family and friends!

- After-school classes run once a week, 90 min per day for an 8 week session
- Summer filmmaking programs run one week at a time, Monday – Friday 9am-3pm
- School vacation week classes run either mornings from 9am – noon or afternoons from 1pm-4pm
